All items are measured in inches. We do this to make it easier for you to gauge size.

Easy Reference in Inches:

	DIME: 5/8"
	PENNY: 3/4" = 12/16"
	NICKEL: 13/16" or 1/16th over 3/4"
	QUARTER: 15/16" or 1/16" under 1"
	HALF-DOLLAR: 1 3/16" or just under 1 1/4"

All our crosses, crucifixes and pendants are measured without the bail (the loop the chain goes through). Dimensions of all items are measured with Height first then Width (widest area to widest area of both sides). Example: 3/4" x 1/2" --- 3/4" height x 1/2" width

What size chain should I purchase?

Women
16" or 18" long. 16" chains hang right below the collarbone and is the most popular size. 18" chains or a pendant chain which is closer to 20" are worn over shirts and will fall right above or between bust line.

Men
18" or 21"long. 18" chains are the most popular and will fall roughly 3" below collarbones for the average man.

What size Cross, Crucifix or Medallion?

Children
For most children, 4/16" to 1" length or width is appropriate when choosing religious jewelry.
Example:
An average 2yr. old most likely would wear between 4/16" to 9/16"(just over a 1/2").
An item of 9/16"(smaller boy) to 1" is appropriate for an average 13yr. old boy.

Gauge: Use a Dime for 5/8" (10/16") and smaller , Penny for 3/4" (12/16"), Nickel for 13/16" to just over 3/4"

Women
A a general rule, pendants, crosses and crucifixes 1" in size or smaller are most appropriate for women. If the woman is petite or larger in stature, you need to scale the size accordingly. A petite woman will feel more comfortable with a 1/2" pendant than a 1" pendant. A larger woman will be more comfortable with 1" to 1 1/2" in size.
Gauge: A dime, penny, nickel or quarter(1" roughly) can be used as a gauge. Please review or chart for sizing.

Men
Most men's religious jewelry is sized 1" and larger. For an average size man, look for 1 1/4" to under 2" in size for all religious jewelry. For medallions, from 1" to 2" is appropriate.

GOLD
We offer two toned and three toned religious jewelry along with our 14K Yellow and White Gold religious jewelry.
Toned Gold is of the same quality and just as real as standard yellow or white gold. 24K is pure gold and considered too soft for jewelry. 14K is the standard for jewelry. All 14K gold has additional metals added to give the gold strength. Depending on what metal alloy is added and how much, determines the color of the gold.

2 Color & 3 Color Gold
Gold metal alloys are added to strengthen gold for jewelry but, can also affect its color.
Standard metal alloys added to create Gold colors:
Yellow Gold: Copper, Silver
White Gold: Nickel, Copper, Zinc
Rose & Pink Gold: Copper, Silver

PURCHASING
All our religious jewelry is solid gold. We do not sell gold filled or plated jewelry. All jewelry is stamped with a mark of 14K and may have European marks also as many items are made in Italy.

*Gold jewelry can last for generations with little effort towards care.

*We have some important information that will help your jewelry retain its beauty and finish.

*Avoid wearing your jewelry while working with chemicals, swimming in chlorinated pools, hot tubs and jacuzzis.

*Remove when using hair color products especially ones containing bleach or hydrogen peroxide.

*Clean your jewelry with warm water, mild soap (detergent free), and a soft toothbrush. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a soft,cloth.

*Store jewelry in a lined box to prevent scratching
